About Me
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Work Supervisor (TX License #55680) with experience in private practice, research, academic & community-based mental health care settings. I served as a Clinical Director in a local group practice prior to opening my own practice. I have worked as a research specialist at UT Health San Antonio Department of Psychiatry and as an adjunct instructor in the UTSA MSW program. My community-based work includes developing innovative programs for integrated healthcare & mental healthcare for people experiencing houselessness, First Episode Psychosis, peer support services in LMHA clinics and re-integration from long term residence at State Hospitals into community housing.
My clients have described me as "results driven with a clear vision forward no matter what I bring to session", "someone who calls me on my bullshit but in a way I don't feel judged", "imaginative", "like a really encouraging but intense coach for your mental health", "relatable", "never judges" and "like talking to a friend but they know so much about this stuff- like an archeologist but for your mind".
